Thanks to the European Funds there were many projects realized by the Augustów Municipality. It took part in programmes such as: SAPARD, PAOW, SPO, ZPORR, SPO RZL, ES, PO KL. Within the projects a lot of renovations, road modernizations, measurement spots of street lighting were made. Moreover, many schools were renovated (window changing, roof repairing, elevation), kindergarteners clubs were created and integrating happenings were organized. Multifunctional school sports fields were built and the outside area of the Local Cultural Centre in Żarnowo was developed.

The Augustów Municipality remembers to build household sewage treatment plants, sanitary canalizations and gravity supply pipelines. Life-saving equipment is also there.
